  • National Geographic Network ID
The concept is derived from the idea of exploring a variety of different environments. The direct target audience is anyone who wants to explore something new or an environment that is not feasible in every day life. The tagline would be “What are you exploring today?” placing the viewer first demonstrating that the TV network is letting explore all around the world while simultaneously placing you in that special place.

*note I used several models but modified and textured them*

  • Memory
The project was based on the unofficial title sequence of Tin Tin. I instilled motion graphics piece with the idea of losing memories, combining a summary of a life story with the loss of humanity and identity. All the style frames were done prior to actual animation.

  • Adobe CS6 Style Frames
These style-frames were created during Battle of the Boards, a collaborative 48-hour design competition hosted by the Motion Media Design department at SCAD. This workshop was facilitated by Greg Herman, renowned motion designer, writer, and director.

In 48-hours, my team's task was to design a collection of style frames for a 30 second commercial advertising Adobe's CS6 Production Premium. The only criteria for the commercial was that we had to use the slogan, "Imagination Without Limits." This following is what my teammate, Lou Ward, and I created for the competition. Due to time constraints, we did not get to design every frame we had planned on designing, but we did our best and had fun doing so.

"Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up." – Pablo Picasso

With this Picasso quote as inspiration, we wanted to explore the idea of limitless imagination in the context of a child's mind. When a child draws or creates, he or she does so with limitless imagination. There is no right or wrong answer– anything goes. As we grow older, we place limitations on our creativity based on what the world says. We restrict ourselves and try to fit inside a mold that society has created. Moreover we face limitations with the technology that we use. For this Adobe commercial, we wanted to show how Adobe's software, serves as a tool that allows the user to break free from all limitations, and truly experience imagination without limits.

The commercial begins with a small girl, coloring by herself. As her imagination runs wild, the viewer is immersed in the experience of seeing her dreams come to life on paper. The journey begins with a child’s drawings, which evolve, grow, and as they become realized, they’re more fantastic. The scene ends when we emerge from this fantasy realm through the computer screen, and we see the little girl all grown up, working on her ideas using Creative Suite tools in Premium Production. This little girl has grown up, and managed to keep her imagination alive with Adobe’s Production Suite. The tools we use to express ourselves may change over time, but the limitless imagination we experience as a child can remain.

  • Russian World Cup Logo Resolve
The project is one that based upon the Russian World Cup Logo for 2018 and a intro or a bumper for that event. I created a updated logo then began to make the video which is a Russian World Cup Logo Resolve. My treatment of the logo made it more tangible rather than a flat vector logo. The second logo is the original and is only vector based which makes it very flat not multi-dimensional.

  • Compositing
For this motion graphic's piece I wanted to composite and track a 3d object in space. I also wanted to have an instagram feel to the video with the highly reflective 3d objects that are futuristic in nature.

I created these styleframe's as a potential title sequence for a movie that is based off a video game. My goal was to combine elements of the game resulting in a somewhat serious title sequence for something that clearly wasn't. The combination of scientific elements and a feeling of sickness or breakout was the underlying theme to the storyboards.

  • NBC London Games Storyboard
The is a storyboard for a spot on the London Olympics that would be on NBC. I choose to use the logo to represent different scenes that would be identified as part of the olympics. I wanted a sense of security as well as a way for the country to unite after the riots.

For these style frame I based it off the current campaign which has the idea of tv taking over ones life through the pereception of alien lifeforms. So I decided to use this plot idea as a form of communication or people obtain entertainment as a plot to take over the world (aliens). Through the visualization of these different forms of entertainment gives the subtle hint by going this mediums as a timeline with tentacle coming in at the end with newest technology.

  • "Always Be Knolling"
The concept of these style frame's was to use the premise of an outline as an alternative way of showing the knolling. This concept was achieved by using negative space to create the 90-degree knolling angle, using ink to illustrate that idea and showing my interest and personality. The use of positive and negative space shows a contrast of how items give the idea that aren’t necessarily there but are displayed by the use of the negative space created by the ink. The concept also demonstrates an abstract nature revealing the money shot would be showed everything which is the entire point of knolling. By using silhouettesas the positive space shows what a persons true knowledge and personality is. The ink also represents my love of squids as well as my first execution of a great piece which won me a scholastic key. The runny ink is also an illusion showing a semi opaque nature of the wood which is also representative of nature.

I created the piece because my excitement for the release of the New Fifa 12. I used 4d Cinema, After Effects and a Capture card to get the footage from the game. The team in the video is PFC CSKA Moscow and my favorite player Doumbia scores the goal.
